Hello friends,

Final Show Thursday, April 25th, 6PM

After five sold out performances here are a few reflections from audience members!

It’s not like anything I’ve seen! I encourage others to experience this amazing performance—to enjoy the multifaceted illumination and heartfelt stories. Oh my! Must see! - Esperanza

Wow, I felt completely transported out of time during the course of the evening. How long was it, when was it, when was it not, I had no concept of time at all. Just held so gently in the space by the magic, I wish it could have lasted forever, but it was somehow just exactly perfect.  - Iris

Absolutely breathtaking! Moved to tears. Loved all of it- wonderful interweave between paintings, music, dance, photography, song and storytelling. - Susan

“One of the most transcendent and magical experiences I have ever had. Our family still talks about it - how we lost all sense of time and place. Was it performance? Art? Theater? Ritual? I was sitting in a seat but it wasn’t passive. We left the theater asking each other, ‘What just happened?’ We were giddy, filled with joy and wonder.”

- I. Eichenlaub,
Audience Member

Performance artist Kristi Williamson and visual artist Kathryn Oliver have combined their skills in dance, drama, music, art and film to create a unique “mythopoetic” theater experience that aims to reinvigorate the imagination and awaken the senses.

Following the rhythms of each of the four seasons, audiences are guided to enter a world of symbol, dream, and myth, expressed through a tapestry of song, dance and poetic passages of timeless wisdom. Together we will reflect, draw inspiration from and reconnect with the flow of nature’s cyclical changes, inviting audience participation so that the boundary between spectator and spectacle dissolves and the space comes alive with shared potential. When our imaginations are thus engaged, through “rituals of remembrance,” it can awaken the heart, calling us towards the good, the beautiful and the true.

Come alive with Mythic Heart Theatre and gather in the intimate setting of Red Door Barn four times a year in a communal-theater experience.
